One of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been. Excellent quality of food. And great gins.
Easy to find. Tables inside and outside. As a fan of japanese food i was very happy to find ramen on the menu. The sushi/sashimi mix my wife got looked amazing. No idea on the taste. She didnt want to share even though she wasnt very hungry. ;) My ramen were a good choice. The mean was perfect.
In my opinion, the best sushi restaurant on the island. We ordered the Fusion combo and all the pieces were delicious. For starters, the prawn tempuras never disappoint! The space isn't big, so I recommend making a reservation.
This place should have 5 stars. All of the food was so fresh and well-presented. The staff were attentive and polite. I have Coeliac disease and they communicated with the chef to find out what I could and couldn’t eat from the menu. I had the ceviche and traditional sushi platter, my partner had the shrimp tempura, chicken gyoza and Fusion platter. It was all delicious! We would come back in a heartbeat. Don’t be put off by the closed door upon entry- they’re just keeping the place air-conditioned.
The staff was very nice the food was delicious! I came to Terceira from Korea so I have a high expectation for ramen haha, but the food was great, the esthetic of the restaurant was very nice - fine dine looking. Definitely going to be a new regular spot.
I was surprised about how yummy & high quality sushi in an European island. The boss was in Japan to learn about Japanese cuisine. I had wasabi ice cream was unexpected rich flavour. I will come back again
My expectations were high after reading the comments, and it is a very nice experience. For the Azores, it would be a 5 star review to have sushis in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, the sushis did not stood out compared to others i have eaten and although they were good, they were not exceptional. We took the 32 pieces fusion combo. That being said, the shrimp springroll were to die for! And my cocktail (big boss gin) was also incredible. You have to book in advance, otherwise rarely available.
